1. Overview

Mantra Counter ("the App") is a peaceful meditation helper that counts your mantra repetitions (108 per round) as you practice. This policy explains, in simple terms, what information the App collects and how it is handled.

The short version: the App is fully offline. It collects no personal information, transmits nothing anywhere, contains no ads, no trackers, and no analytics. Everything the App remembers stays on your own device.

2. Information we collect

The App collects no personal information whatsoever. Specifically, the App does NOT collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Precise or approximate location
• Photos, videos, audio, or contacts
• Health, financial, or payment information
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or tracking cookies
• Any data you enter beyond your chosen mantra

Data stored locally on the device

The App saves a small amount of practice data locally on your device so your progress is not lost between sessions:

• Your current count and completed rounds (108-mantra rounds)
• The mantra text you choose to count
• Your daily practice streak
• Total lifetime mantras counted
• A simple history of completed sessions (date, time, mantra, count)

This data is stored only on the device using the device's standard local web storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any server, and it is never shared with anyone.

3. Third parties

There are none. The App contains:

• No advertising (no ad SDKs, no ad personalization)
• No analytics or crash-reporting services
• No social features, chat, or user-generated content sharing
• No network connections — the App works entirely offline and makes no requests to any server

4. Permissions

The App requests only two permissions, both non-sensitive:

• Vibration — used to give a gentle haptic pulse as you tap each mantra, and a longer pulse when you complete a round of 108. Your device may already have this disabled; the App still works.
• Internet — declared by the underlying web runtime, but the App makes no network requests. Nothing is ever sent.

5. Children's privacy

The App collects no personal information from any user, including children. Because there is no data collection, no ad personalization, and no data transmission, there is nothing to retain and no consent is required for data processing under laws including COPPA and GDPR.

6. Deleting data

You can delete all locally stored practice data at any time:

• On Android: open Settings → Apps → Mantra Counter → Storage → Clear data (or clear the site data in your browser if using the web version); or
• Uninstall the App, which removes all locally stored data.

7. Security

Because no data ever leaves your device, there is no data to intercept in transit. The little practice data stored locally is protected by your device's own security.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change the way the App handles data, we will update this policy and the effective date above.
